Keile District is proud to announce a new project in collaboration with TU Delft, Erasmus University Rotterdam, and Hogeschool Rotterdam. In this collective journey, the cooperative model of collaboration will be explored, compared with surrounding areas such as the Schiehaven and Merwepieren, and actively shared with partners and the wider community.

This summer, the Keile District Foundation was established and has now been officially recognized by the European Commission’s Built4People programme as an Innovation Cluster. With this recognition, Rotterdam joins sixteen other European examples of innovative regional development. It marks an important step forward, creating new opportunities for collaboration, knowledge sharing, and impact on a European scale.

For the coming decades, M4H is undergoing a major transition to become an area where people can both live and work. Within this transformation, Keile District (Keilekwartier) holds a unique position, where culture, makers, and nature are closely interwoven with the urban environment.
